PMB- led administration...A Government of the People

At the breaking of the news that the Ministry of Finance has the President's approval to release  N22.68billion  part release of retirement benefit of ex-workers of the Nigeria Airways and N20billion to the Academic Staff Union of Universities revitalization fund request for public universities; many observers and analysts have come to the conclusion that truly, the PMB- led administration is out to work for the masses

Come to think of it. Around this time in 2014, most of the work of givernance had been overtaken by politicking, alignments and non- alignments. Visits were being made to religious houses, traditional rulers and god-fathers within different political enclosure. This time,it is different, moderate and above all sanitised. The comments and campaign documentaries that used to be carried out along ethnic or religious line are controlled and monitored. Though there are few comments that can be said to be unwholesome,  a lot are worthy of commendations.
Similarly, the fund needed for capital projects are being released in trenches as the nation' s treasury could afford it.
.For the first time since the return to democracy in 1999, good governance and delivery on projects/ infrastructure have been the key focus of the administration. It is a new era and now,we can truly say ' Our democracy is no longer a nascent one.It is a government of the people.'
Long live Nigeria.
